Gone, but not forgotten
 I'm bummed. I grew up in the 70s. Saw Evel jump at the chicago amphitheater. Spent the rest of my youth jumping garbage cans in the alley on our custom schwinn stingrays. 12 cans was my personal best. With no helmet or landing ramp. Thanks for being Evel

Thanks for being Evel. You showed the world that a "Bad Ass" could be one of the good guys.  You resisted pressure from 1% bikers and helped me fall in love with Harley's (American Iron) which was ironic because You WERE American Iron.  I express my sympathy for your family and wish you a safe ride as you jump over the pearly gates.  Live free and ride for eternity.
