I have lived and loved motorcycles since I was three years old. I remember seeing Evel on TV as some of my oldest memories. I'd never miss a jump on TV. The first paperback book I ever read was The Great Cycle Jumpers. I even jumped my bicycle over my dads 4x4 pickup when my motorcycles were broken (from jumping over everything else!). He was my childhood hero! I even have an autographed Wembly poster on my bedroom wall. The world is a lesser place with him gone. By the way, because in no small part of his way of life and moral standards and my choice to live by them, I was given the name "Eagle" by my Echota Cherokee Nation. I am now also a US Army Combat Helicopter Instructor Pilot and this, after a motorcycle crash that had the doctors telling my family that I would never walk again en-route to flight school. May Grandfather welcome him home with open arms!!! He IS missed greatly.
