He is and was one of my childhood Heroes. He was in a select group for me that included only 4 Men. They are Evel Knievel, John Wayne, Richard Petty, and Muhammed Ali.
When I heard that Evel had passed it brought back so many memories. I remember watching him jump every time he was on tv. I got to meet him as a young boy when he came to Dallas, Tx. And I'll never forget how he made time for his fans.
To me and many others he was and still is larger than life. I will never forget you Evel. And I know you are now performing for the greatest audience in Heaven. Someday I hope to see you again. God Bless You.
