To Mr. Knievel and all the fans,
Many years ago, at the age of 16 (1974), I wrote a song about Evel Knievel. It never became a big hit or anything, just became my trademark of the high school band I had called "Brad and The Classics". In 1994, 20 years after making 5 -45 rpm records of that song, only 1 had survived. I presented it to Evel in June of 1994. I don't know if Evel remembers, but I hope he liked it. About 1 year ago, I was watching a show about Evel on TV. I realized, 'hey, with all the technology available today, why not make a music video?'. So, I recreated the song as I sound today, and mixed in some video from that broadcast. It has been very popular in the past year, and I want Evel to see it. So, here is the link. My tribute to one of the greatest heroes of my lifetime, and will live on in the hearts of many to follow.

And on November 19,2007, it is the 4th anniversary of a motorcycle accident that almost took my life. I was coming home from work when a truck turned left in front of me and stopped in the roadway. At 50 mph, I only left 60 ft of skidmarks and body-slammed the side of the pickup, was catapulted into the air and landed 75 ft further down the roadway. I suffered 5 broken ribs, fractured right calcaneous (heel bone), fracture all 5 lumbar vertebrae (L2 was a burst fracture), and right-collapsed lung. I spent 12 days in ICU at the OU Trauma Center. My spinal chord was completely exposed at L2, yet I suffered no neurological damage. I have 2 rods and 8 screws holding my spine together. It is a miracle of God that I can walk. You can read more about it and see more photos at http://www.myspace.com/braddavisrevue.
God Bless
